Myra Seely

Myra Doreen Seely, 89,of Salisbury and formerly Havelock, widow of Charles Ernest Seely, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born December 19, 1933 in Havelock, she was a daughter of the late Dean and Irene (Carson) Henry. Myra was active in her community of Havelock involved with the ladies Auxillary of the Legion, Women's Institute, Anglican Church Women and a faithful member of the Anglican Parish of Salisbury and Havelock. She took great pride in everything she did including her many prize winning quilts. Myra loved to spend time with her family and many Sunday dinners were enjoyed around her table.

Survived and sadly missed by her children William Seely, Betty Lou Gautreau (late Freddy), Cheryl Broad (Donald), grandchildren Shawna Fry (Rick), Marsha Taylor, Erin Seely (Trevor), Peter Seely (Michael), Natalie Stone (Adam), Corey Steeves, Ryan Gogan (Cindy), Justin Gautreau, Matthew Gautreau (Victoria), Clark Seely (Molly), Haley Broad (Isaac), Dylan Broad, eight great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren. Survived also by her sister Olive Taylor ( late Beryl), brothers in law George Seely (Diane), Cuthbert Seely (Wanda), sister in law Mora Mosher (Everett), son in law Terry Steeves and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years Ernest, daughters Shirley Steeves and an infant, son Gary, sisters Vivian Taylor, Alta Mesheau (Burlin), Alma Mesheau (Floyd), brother Dean Henry Jr.(Marjorie), sister in law Hazel Clark (Arthur).

Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106  (506) 372-4800, with visiting Saturday, May 13 at 1 pm until time of service at 2:30 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Chris Hayes officiating.. Interment at Loyalist Cemetery, Havelock.

If desired, memorials to Saint John's Anglican Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
