Esther Bagley
1931-2023
Esther Bagley, 91 of Dieppe passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Blackville, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Zillah (Betts) Sutherland. Esther was a homemaker and pastor's wife supporting her husband at churches throughout the Maritimes and Maine. Esther had been a member of various WMS Groups. She was a member of the Second North River Baptist Church. Esther loved her family, enjoyed camping with her husband and getting out for a drive.
She is survived and missed by her sons Gerald, Duane, Blaine (Sally) and Carter (Tanya); grandchildren Monica, Jeremy (Sharon), Levi (Wendy), Nathaniel (Lacy), Seth (Tiffany), and Carter Jr. (Sydney); several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Rev. Angus Bagley; sisters Marjorie O'Donnel, Grace Johnston, Bessie Colpitts, Shirley Roy and Rhona Crane and brothers Walter and Cecil Sutherland.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) where visiting will be Sunday, April 30 from 1 pm until time of the service at 2 pm. Interment at Monteagle Cemetery.
