It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Lesley "Les" P. Heffer, 64 of Havelock, on March 28th at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Newcastle, he was a son to the late Burpee & Adele (Olsen) Heffer.
Les worked at PCS for 25 years, as well as worked part time at the car service department at Wal-Mart in Moncton for 10 years. He was a member of the Havelock Legion, Branch 86. He enjoyed woodworking, working in the woods, tinkering in his garage, traveling, reading and photography, but most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Les is survived and sadly missed by his wife, Lorraine (Surrett) Heffer of Havelock; his daughter, Sarah (Jason) Flynn of New Hampshire; his son, Jacob Heffer of Havelock; his grandson, Beckett Flynn and his niece, Becky Moss of British Columbia.
Besides his parents, Les was predeceased by his brother Bryan Heffer.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). A graveside service will be held from the Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
If desired, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.keirsteads.ca
