Joan Chown

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Joan E. Chown, 67, of Moncton, formerly Forest Hill on March 9^th at the Albert House Hospice surrounded by her family. Born in Petitcodiac, she was a daughter to the late Kenneth & Myrtle (Wilson) Steeves.

Joan loved spending time with her family. Enjoyed gardening, reading, cross-stitching and in her later years going for drives and out to eat. She will be greatly missed.

Joan is survived and sadly missed by her brothers: Donald Steeves (Allyson MacIntosh), Gary Steeves (Erin Dole) and Andrew Steeves (Arlene) as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Joan was predeceased by her brother, Dale Steeves.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800. A graveside service from The Pleasant Vale Cemetery will be held at a later date.
