Carolyn Steeves

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Carolyn Steeves, 80, of Petitcodiac on February 27^th, 2023. Born in Woodstock, she was a daughter to the late Arnold & Lillian (Cheney) McBride.

Carolyn enjoyed time with her family and devoted a lot of her time at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Petitcodiac. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and baking. She was the organist for many years at St. Andrew’s and a long-time member of the ACW and cherished the long lasting friendships she had made.

Carolyn is survived and sadly missed by her daughter, Jennifer Hyett (Rick); her son, Matthew Steeves; her grandson, Damian Hyett (Ashley); her great granddaughter, Hailey; her brother in law, Ken Steeves (Carolyn) as well as Rick’s daughters, Amanda, Krista and their children.

Besides her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her husband, Bob Steeves.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 506-372-4800, from where visitation will be held on Friday, March 3^rd, 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 6:00pm – 8:00pm. A funeral service celebrating Carolyn’s life will be held on Saturday, March 4^th, from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00am with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at a later date.
