Mary "Theresa" Josephine Gogan
1937-2023
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Mary "Theresa" (Elward) Gogan, of Moncton and formerly Salisbury on February 5th, 2023 at the Veterans Memorial Home. Born in Richibucto, she was a daughter to the late Charlie & Mary (Stewart) Elward.
Theresa contributed many years of service to the Legion and her community. She helped raise two of her grandchildren and had a tremendous love for her dog Dozer.
Theresa is survived and sadly missed by her sister, Maxine Collins; her children: Barry Gogan, James "Jim" Leadbetter (Gayle) and Sheila Breau (Yvon); her grandchildren: Matthew (Candace), Natascha and Justin (Jessica); her special great grandchildren: Nevaeh, Jaxon, Nash, Hudson, Taylor and Bailey as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Leonard Gogan; her daughter, Heather Gogan and many of her siblings.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 beginning at 11:30am at the Salisbury Legion. All are welcome.
