Boyd Price Boyd Price

Boyd Albert Price, of Salisbury, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Friday, January 27th, 2023.  Born in Salisbury he was the son of the late Eldon and Annabelle (Lewis) Price.

Over the years Boyd was an active member of the Salisbury community as a barber, school bus driver, builder, fur farmer, village councillor and a member of the Lions Club.  During his retirement he enjoyed helping others by doing things such as providing lifts, doing snow removal and tilling gardens.  He loved travelling, watching sports, following the news, and socialising with his friends and family.  He never took anything for granted.  He was exceedingly grateful to his many friends and relatives who have been unwavering in their support of him and to his neighbour Debbie Steeves whose quick actions meant he was able to continue to enjoy his life over this past Christmas and into the New Year.

He will be greatly missed by his stepdaughter, Kelly Stanhope and her husband Martin Porter of England; his four grandchildren Amy and Alex Price of Ontario and Elizabeth and Catherine Porter of England; his daughter-in-law Carol Clarke; his son Darren’s first wife, Lena Lang; his first wife Daphne (Dryden); his sisters Elinor Crosthwaite, Helen Bleakney and Margaret Henry; his brother, Eric and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his second wife, Doreen (Steeves); his son, Darren; his brothers, Lorne (Tye) and Carl; his sister Doris; his infant brother and his special friend Joan Carr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Salisbury Funeral Home, (506-372-4800). A graveside interment will be held at a later date from Pine Hill Cemetery.
