Donna Lounsbury
1949-2023
Donna Thelma Lounsbury, 73 of Steeves Settlement passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Young) McCafferty. Donna was a homemaker and she enjoyed her hobbies soduku, word jumbles, cards, board games, knitting and crocheting.
She is survived and sadly missed by her daughters Lana Lounsbury, Wheaton Settlement, Lynn Lounsbury, Steeves Settlement and Faye Lounsbury, Steeves Settlement; special son Mikee Saunders, Havelock; special Nonnie to Lily and Levi; sister Mary Voldimer, Ontario; sisters-in-law Grace MacCaull, Moncton and Alta McCafferty, Fredericton; brother-in-law Kenneth Lounsbury (Mamie), Second North River and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Donna was predeceased by her husband Vaughn (2007) and brother Douglas McCafferty.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) visiting will be held Monday, January 30 from 6 - 8 pm and from where the funeral will be held Tuesday, January 31 at 11 am with Pastor Mackenzie Hiltz officiating. Interment in Steeves Settlement at a later date.
If desired, in memory of Donna, donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital - NB Doctors Cycling Against Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
