Betty Quinlan
1930-2023

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Betty Quinlan, 92, of Riverglade at the Moncton Hospital on January 2nd. Born in Nova Scotia, she was a daughter to the late Gilbert & Freda (Nickerson) Ross.
Betty enjoyed watching NASCAR and going for country drives, hunting and cooking for her family and friends.
Betty is survived and sadly missed by her son, Byron Quinlan (Marla); her brothers, Kenneth Ross (Yola) and Reggie Nickerson (Joanie); her sister, Virginia Weybert (late John); her granddaughters: Christina Taylor, Ann-Marie Taylor (paul), Peggy Reeder, Beverley Quinlan (Ethan), Melanie Allen (Troy), Roxanne Abbott (Anthony), Carmen Quinlan (Shawn) and Linda Krieg (Jeff); her grandsons, Gordon Geldart (Joyce) and Terry Geldart (Allison); daughter in law, Shirley Quinlan (late Charlie); special great grandchild, Alex Quinlan (Matt) along with many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Quinlan, her sons, Charlie and Gary Quinlan; her brothers: Valphy, Enslow, Durwood and Shenton; her sisters: Vivian, Gardenia and Opal; her daughters in law, Cathy Quinlan and Julia Quinlan.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks for Missy Surette and her continued care for Betty.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800) from where visitation will be held on January 5, from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. A funeral service celebrating Betty’s life will be held on January 6, at 11am with Pastor Dennis Smith presiding. Interment will be held in the spring at Pine Hill Cemetery.
