Maarten den Admirant

The family of the late Maarten den Admirant would like to invite all friends, family and relatives for a Celebration of Maarten’s Life on January 14^th from 12:00pm – 6:00pm at the Apohaqui Centennial Hall, 16 Jones Memorial Park Rd, Apohaqui.

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Maarten den Admirant of Sussex, at the Sussex Health Center on December 28th surrounded by his family.

Born in Holland he was a son to the late Peter & Alida (Van Eenigen) den Admirant.

Maarten is survived and sadly missed by his children Peter, Ruth, Martin, Kelly and David, by 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and one great great grandson, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Maarten was predeceased by his wife, Katherine (Kelly) and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

The family would like to express a sincere, heart-felt thanks to  Dr.Stephanie Ward for her care.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800).  Maarten’s wishes are that  arrangements will be held privately.

If desired, donations made to The Sussex Health Center, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
