Michael Geldart

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Michael Stephen Geldart, 71, of Salisbury. Born in Campbellton he was the son of the late Eldridge & Alyuna (Price) Geldart.

A career handyman, Michael led successful vocations as an industrial mechanic for CNR, and later in life spent time as a computer technician and enthusiast. Michael also enjoyed hobbies ranging from competitive handgun marksmanship to watching baseball and nighttime hockey, and was an avid reader and enjoyer of historical film.

Michael is survived and sadly missed by his wife of 38 years, Norma Geldart; his sons, Evan (Meagan) and Nicholas Geldart; his grandchildren, Emry and Briar; his siblings: Kathie Lapierre (Marcel), Susan McPhail (Bruce), Nancy Gilbert (late Stephen), Andy Geldart (Heather) and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home. As per the family’s request all arrangements are being held privately. An interment for Michael will be held at a later date.
