Marion Tanton

Marion Freda Tanton (nee Waterbury) passed away peacefully in the home of her birth on October 2, 2022 in Petitcodiac with family by her side.

She was born Dec. 30, 1923 to Sarah and Harry Waterbury and is predeceased by brother Dyson Waterbury and sister Louise Rogers. She married Frank Tanton November 24, 1952 in Winnipeg after meeting in Saint John while working for Irving Oil. They have one daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Schweigert (Jake), three grandsons Isaac, Erik (Stephanie), and Stefan (Sonia)) and four great grandchildren.

Thanks to the special care provided by the Extra-Mural nursing staff during her final days.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). A funeral service will be held on October 21 at the St. Andrews Anglican Church at 2:00pm with interment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
