Joan Hill

Our beloved Joan passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 31 at the age of 69 years.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Allan; her daughter Dawn (Jim); her son Arthur (Stacey); daughter/niece Bobbi Lynn; granddaughters Mackenzie, Jesse, Shelby and great-grandson Kash. She was predeceased by her parents Leopold and Marie; sister Sandra (Ken) and brother John.

 Joan lived with debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis for most of her life but fought through her pain every day in order to live her best life for herself, her family and her friends. She had a strict open door policy and was always there, beloved dog Sammy on her lap, coffee in hand, ready to listen and offer advice to anyone who needed her. Joan’s strength and perseverance was an inspiration to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Now run, dance, and ride your horses…the pain is gone.

Arrangements are in care of the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800). Visitation will be held at the Salisbury funeral home on Friday, September 2, 2022, 2pm - 4pm.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Moncton hospital and special friend Lois for her loving care.

In lieu of flowers, Joan has asked for donations to be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada.
