Klara Steeves

 Klara Elisabeth Steeves, 96, of Riverview passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at her residence.

 Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Theodor and Elisabeth Goerner. Klara emigrated from Germany to Canada in 1952.

 She is survived and missed by her daughter, Renate (Manfred) Schäfer of Germany; her grandchildren, Thomas, Annette and Elisabeth; her great-grandchild, Julia; 3 sisters in Germany, and several nieces and nephews.

 Klara was predeceased by her husband, Howard (1987); her brother, Klaus (Gisila) Goerner of Ontario, and 2 sisters.

 Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800). A service will be held at St. Jude’s Church on Tuesday, September 6^th at 11 am.
