Nancy Dennison

1943-2022

Nancy Dennison

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Dennison (Goddard), 78, on July 26, 2022. Nancy was born in Saint John, NB on December 15 1943 to the proud parents Stella Goddard (O'Blenis) and Donald Goddard.

She was raised on a small farm in the small community of Anagance. Our Mom was attending nursing School, and then met Dad. They started their family in Saint John, NB, and then moved back to Anagance beside her parents, where they built a home.

Where we were all raised, our Mom loved each one of us. She was proud of us and all her family and friends around her. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart; loving seeing and hearing what they were doing and what their next adventure was, whether it was big or small. Mom was always used to cooking for a herd of us, and she was always the one who came with an arm load of food to feed a crew, even if you invited her to dinner. She would always say, "I don’t like going empty handed". She loved playing cards with dear friends and loved her Seniors Group in Anagance. She also had a huge love for the community and helping make improvements to the Hall. If there was a fundraiser, count Mom all in. Mom had a huge love for recipes, but she had her favorites, like her Lemon Squares: always a hit. But we cannot forget her pets: her Sweet Rex (her Puppy) and her Pretty Boy (the Cat). She loved them dearly and was as proud of them as us. She also loved having farm animals like her chickens, which she would go talk to.

Today, our Mom leaves behind us 4 children: Susan Dennison, Loretta Crossman, Darlene Clarke (Lynn), Arthur Dennison (Shannon); her Grandchildren, Nicholas Crossman, Lacey Crossman (David Lee), Taylor Clarke (Arielle), Anna Clarke (Dustin), Tyra Dennison, Madison Dennison, Nathan Coates, and Sierra Coates; her Great-Grandchildren, Lilly Chute, Zoey Chute, and Hudson Clarke; her Brother, Gordon Goddard (Janet) and her Niece, Dawn Goddard.

Nancy is predeceased by her Mother, Stella Goddard; Father, Donald Goddard; Nephew, Edmund Goddard; Son-in-law, Douglas Crossman and her special friend, Marnie Murray.

A special thanks goes to Dr. Crozier at the Moncton Hospital for his extra care and compassion, as well as extra mural and Laurie Wilson for their great care to help our family bring Mom home to be with us where she wanted to be. Love you always, Mom. In my Heart you will be. XOXO Special Quote: Love you forever, Like you always, as long as I live, My Mom and My Nannie, You will always be.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd. A time of fellowship will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd, at 12:00pm, at the Anagance Hall in memory of Nancy. All are welcome.

If desired, donations made to The Anagance Hall would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.keirsteads.ca
