Peechy Marr

 Peechy Frances (Smith) Marr, 92, of Cornhill, NB passed away on July 9, 2022 at Dr. Georges-L. -Dumont University Hospital Centre.

 Born in Pine Glen, NB on October 31, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Tina Belle (Harrison) Smith and William Owan Smith and the last surviving of her siblings.

 Peechy taught school in the little one room school houses with nine grades, but, her main love was her husband and family. She loved knitting and sewing – making many quilts. She loved company, especially the ones who came to play cards.

 Peechy is survived by three daughters, Lorna Jane Marr of Cornhill, Ruth Peechy Campbell (Kris) of Burton and Ruby Ann Dempsey (James) of Jacquet River. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-children, nieces and nephews.

 She was predeceased by her husband, Milton; her brothers, Seward, Timothy, Lloyd, Billee, Lewis, Oran, Carl and Everett; and her sisters, Bertha Lewis, Edna Stewart, Ella Smith, and Dorothy Black.

 Arrangements are in the care of Armstrongs/ Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). A graveside service was held at Pine Grove Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
