Julia Quinlan

1953-2022

Julia Quinlan

Julia Mae Quinlan (Weir), 68, of Petitcodiac passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Middlesex, NB, on September 22, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Nellie (Robb) Weir.  Nick-named "The blossom queen" she loved gardening and could grow anything, she could create amazing pieces with her knitting, sewing and crocheting skills.  She enjoyed the outdoors and outings with her children and grandson, trips to Alma for lobster, trips to Elgin to have lunch with her brother and visiting her sister.

Julia was loved and is sadly missed by her daughters, Roxanne Abbott of River Glade, Carmen Quinlan of Petitcodiac, son Edward Miller of Hamilton On, grandson Hunter of River Glade, her brothers Harold (Louise) of St. George and Brian Weir of Petitcodiac, sister Helen (Robert) Wright of Salisbury, several nieces and nephews, lifelong friend and soul mate Ronnie Robichaud of Shediac and her four-legged grandsons Trevor & Tucker.

Besides her parents, Julia was predeceased by her brother Arnold Weir and his wife Phyllis (Steeves), nephews Craig & Bruce Weir.

Roxanne, Carmen, Edward, and Hunter would like to extend a special thank you to Shawn Smith, Missy Surrett, Ann Marie Taylor, and Christina Taylor for all their help and support over the past month.  We couldn’t have done it without you!

Per Julia’s request there will be no visitation or service.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of The Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).
