Dorothy "Dot" MacWilliam

  Dorothy (Dot) Jean MacWilliam, 91, of Lefurgey Special Care Home, Moncton and formerly Salisbury, passed away peacefully June 8, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in Gordonsville, N.B. she was a daughter of the late Wasson and Hilda (Baxter) Bridges. A graduate of the Provincial Normal School she taught school before deciding to dedicate herself to raising her family and was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed long walks with her husband Hartley, picking berries, playing bridge and reading. She will be fondly remembered by many for her delicious fudge and baking. She also enjoyed helping family and community members behind the scenes. She was a member of the Salisbury  Baptist Church and attended Salisbury United Church.

  Survived and sadly missed by her daughters Margaret of Moncton and Janet of Dartmouth, her sister Audrey Lawson and nephews Robert and Steven Lawson all of Elliott Lake, ON. Predeceased by her beloved husband Hartley in 1993.

  Interment was held at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).
