Bliss Lowerison

  Bliss A. Lowerison, 89, of Monarch Hall, Riverview and formerly Colpitts Settlement passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 with family at his side.

  Born in Middle Sackville, N.B. he was a son of the late George and Ruby (Wheaton) Lowerison.

   Bliss was a lifelong employee of CNR retiring as Regional Superintendant of Transportation, Atlantic Region after 37 years. He was a member of the Keith Masonic Lodge and Shriners and enjoyed travel, hunting, fishing and golf.

  Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife Carol (Colpitts), his daughters Judy O'Keefe (Con), Jayne Hlady (Ron) and Jennifer Lowerison (Steve Beaumont), cherished grandchildren Daniel, Lauren, Denys, Mariah, Julia and Michael, his sister Karen Gill (Ron) and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

   The family will receive relatives and friends at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rte 106 (372-4800) on Sunday, May 1 from 2 - 4 p.m. The family have requested masks be worn. Interment at a later date at the Colpitts Community Cemetery.

  Memorial donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
