Dora MacPhee

  Dora Mary MacPhee, 96, of Petitcodiac passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at Fawcetts Rest Home with family at her side. Born in Aulac she was a daughter of the late Roy and Frances (Carter) Etter. She attended the Saint James United Church and St. Andrew Anglican Church in Petitcodiac. Dora was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 41, Petitcodiac and was an active member of the cribbage league, bingo, her knitting and keeping up on her granchildren and great grandchildren.

  Survived and sadly missed by her children Pauline Munro of Ottawa, Nancy Payne (Dalton) of Kamloops, B.C., Gary (Lou) of Petitcodiac, Susan Chambers (late Maurice) of Petitcodiac, Kathy Smith (Ronald) of Wheaton Settlement and daughter-in-law Pam MacPhee. Survived also by her grandchildren Kelly Arsenault (Jeff), Stephen Malcolm (Janice), Deborah Cayen (Philip), Chris MacPhee (Lori), Bradley MacPhee (Shawndelle), Stacy Hunter (Tim), Kristy Blakney (Terry), Mark Chambers (Stacy), Justin MacPhee, Kimberly Thorne (Shawn Lewis) and Beverly Smith (Travis MacLeod); great grandchildren Taylor and Connor Arsenault, Alyssa, Andrew and Amy Malcolm, Heather, Richelle and Amanda Cayen, Logan and Cole MacPhee, Jax and Anthony MacPhee, Chloe and Connor Hunter, Mia and Dylan Blakney, Bryson and Drew Chambers, Samantha Thorne, Lilianna and Layla Heldberg; great great grandchildren Abigail and Molly Cayen and several nieces and nephews. Dora was the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Francis Etter; husband Cecil MacPhee; son Richard MacPhee; granddaughter Melanie MacPhee; sisters Margaret Etter and Ivie Bacon.

  There will be a private family service at Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800) with Rev. Chris Hayes officiating. Interment in Maplewood Cemetery.

  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Fawcett's Rest Home for the wonderful care our Mother received and also to Dr. Blanchard and extra mural nurses.

  If desired, donations in memory of Dora to the Maplewood Cemetery or Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Mammography Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
