Ronald Doucet

   Ronald Joseph Doucet, 71, of Moncton, passed away at his home on Monday, March 28, 2022. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Amedée Doucet and Laura Doucet.

   Ron was passionate about music and was happy to share his passion by teaching others how to play guitar. He enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey, never losing hope that his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs would once again hoist the cup. Although Ron enjoyed his privacy, he was very caring, and would still look after others before himself and help anyone in need.

   Survived by his son, Randy (Michelle) Doucet; an estranged daughter; granddaughters, Madison, Nikki, and Lauren Doucet; siblings, Diane (Edmund) Bastarache, and Rose-Mary (Henry) LeBlanc; mother of his sons, Ruth Steeves; as well as many nieces and nephews.

   In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his son, Robbie Doucet; siblings, Samuel, Irene, Jeannie, and Doris.

   Arrangements are in care of The Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). There will be a private interment in Portage Vale Cemetery at a late date. If desired, memorials to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
