Stephen "Dusty" Taylor

   Stephen "Dusty" Earnest Taylor, 62, of Manhurst, passed away at the Country Care Home, Intervale, on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Born in Ontario, he was a son of Irene (Coldrick) Taylor and the late Donald Taylor.

   Stephen began working at the age of 16 at the Sussex Livestock Auction Barn, where he earned the name Dusty. Later he became a livestock dealer, calling on the local farms, as well as a labourer at Ridgebrook Lumber. He then went on to be a vendor at the local farmers markets, selling produce and meats.

    In addition to his mother, Stephen is survived and sadly missed by two sons, Stephen (Amanda) Taylor, and Jason Taylor; daughter, Brianna Taylor; grandson, Owen; siblings, Brian Taylor, Tim (Charlene) Taylor, Brenda (Greg) Keith, and Richard (Michelle) Taylor; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

   Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106, Salisbury West (506-372-4800) from where visiting will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 1:30 pm until time of Service at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jim Agrell officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
