Wayne Price

  Wayne Robert Price, 72, of Anagance passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in Havelock, he was the son of the late Freeman and Mildred (Melvin) Price but raised by special parents the late George and Jean Harper.

  Wayne was a graduate of Petitcodiac Regional High School in 1968 and went on to NBCC Saint John. He spent his lifetime as a self-employed contractor, creating Price's Refinishing. He was famous for whistling while he worked. In 2007 he closed his business, moving to Cape Dorset, Nunavut, working first  for the Hamlet then the government. He lost his heart to the north, traveling extensively. Wayne's passion was taking his 1957 Belair Chevy to car shows.

  He is survived and sadly missed by his wife Sara Price; sons Matthew Price (Michele), Nunavut and Mark Price (Jen), ON; special daughter Liz Bowes, Petitcodiac; grandchildren Rachelle, Joshua, Chloe, Kayla, Sarah, Alex, Natalie and Dominic; great grandson Alexander; brothers Stan Price (Janette), Havelock, Jerry Price (Mary Jean), Petitcodiac and Jody Price, Alberta; sisters Linda Colpitts (Larry), Havelock and Donna Price, Petitcodiac and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his nephew Kelly Price and niece Misty Price.

  There will be no visitation or funeral by personal request. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home & Crematorium (372-4800).

  If desired, memorial donations in memory of Wayne to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
