Wornick Price

  Wornick George Price, 78 of Salisbury passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Wornick Sr. and Lillian (Steeves) Price. He was retired from NAV Canada, was a founding member of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club and Moncton Speed and Custom Club. Wornick was an active member in his community through the Salisbury Lions Club with many years of dedicated service on the Lions Villa Board of Directors. He and his late wife Marjorie enjoyed traveling Canada and the world for work and pleasure. Some of his happiest moments were attending many corvette cruises and shows throughout the Atlantic Provinces.

  Survived and sadly missed by his children Patti, Perth Andover, Lauren Williamson (Paul), Salisbury and Wornick III (Lisa), Winnipeg; cherished grandchildren Allyson, Samantha, Raiden and Lillian; a close cousin Joanne Barnett; brother-in-law Stephen Bolton; sisters-in-law Gale Maiden and Audrey Gillespie; brothers-in-law George, Lawrence, Richard and Norman Woodman and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Marjorie (Woodman), sister Nadine Bolton and brothers-in-law Donald and Gordon Woodman.

  There will be visiting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) Monday, November 15 from 6 to 8 pm. A private family funeral will be held with Pastor Paul Leger officiating. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury.

  If desired, memorial donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
