Lynda Quillian

1946-2021

Lynda Quillian

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Lynda Hope Quillian, 75, of Moncton, formerly of Salisbury, with her daughter Tena by her side, and family arriving shortly after, on Indian Mountain, Sunday, October 17, 2021. Born in Lewis Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Bertram and Rachel (Sleeper) Killam.

Lynda retired after 20 years of service at Scotsburn Dairy products. She was a devout wife, mother and grandmother, and after losing their daughter, Kimberly Susan (Mike) Finck (nee Fenton), Lynda and her husband raised three of their grandchildren. Her never ending smile and optimism will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her most.

Survived and sadly missed by her beloved husband, Leonard Quillian; children, Tena Dawn (John) Steeves of Indian Mountain, NB, Travis Robert (Andrea) Fenton of Kimberly, BC; grandchildren, Cody Finck (Carla), Kyle Finck, Curtis Finck; Cara Steeves, Corey Steeves; Tanner Fenton, Ava Fenton; great grandchildren; Corbin and Kayson Finck; brothers, Merle (Bonnie) Killam, and Bertram (Elaine) Killam; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Hudson and Dr. Jee for the care Lynda received.

Family and Friends are invited to St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 3062 Main St, Salisbury, for a time of visiting on Friday, October 29, between 12 noon and 1 pm, followed immediately by Service of Remembrance at 1pm officiated by Fr. Phil Mulligan. Masks and proof of Covid-19 double vaccination are required to attend. Interment in Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Hill.

Arrangements are in care of The Salisbury Funeral Home. (506-372-4800)

If desired, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
