Tanya Fortin

   Tanya Lynn Fortin, 63, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at Hospice Albert House, Moncton on Sunday, September 19, 2021 with family by her side. Born in Truro, NS she was the daughter of the late Richard and Lois Evelyn (Langley) O’Brien.

   Tanya was employed at the Independent Grocer in Salisbury for a good portion of her working life. She put her values in Family, believing like branches of a tree, we grow in different directions, yet the strength of our roots keeps all us together.

   Survived and sadly missed by her two sons, Matthew Fortin and Nicolas Fortin (Matthieu Villeneuve); siblings, William (Debbie) O’Brien, Dawn (Jack) Seely, Pamela O’Brien (Daniel Primeau), and Lee "Doc" (Darcey) O’Brien; and nieces and nephews.  She also had the pleasure, benefit and support of a closely-knit circle of friends to whom we are all grateful.

   Besides her parents, Tanya was predeceased by her brother, Richard O’Brien.

  There will be no services by request. Arrangements in care of The Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). If desired, memorials to Hospice Moncton would be appreciated.
