Brian Allan Jackson, 71, of Elgin, passed away at his home on Monday, September 6, 2021. Born in Petitcodiac, he was the son of the late Floyd and Thelma (Lewis) Jackson.
Brian was a Truck Driver, who retired to the country, where traffic was light, and friends were plenty. He loved hunting, fishing and just going for a drive. He loved dogs, cats and rescued many. Christmas was Brian’s favourite time of the year and he would string as many lights as an electrical panel could manage!!
Brian is lovingly remembered by family and friends, who take comfort in knowing that he is at peace with his best bud ever,"Bubba" at his side. Survived by his long time companion, Leona Stead; siblings, Julia (Erwin) Jackson, Deborah (William) O’Brien, Dwight (Heather) Jackson, Synthia Blakney, and Sandra (Justin) Scribner; children, Matthew, Stephanie, and Melissa; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brother Floyd, brother-in-law, Andrew Blakney
There will be no visitation by request. A private family graveside service will be held at The Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements in care of The Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (506-372-4800).
If desired, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. In memory of Brian, spend some time in nature, call an old friend or put up an extra string of lights in December.
