Donna Halliday

   Donna May Halliday, 61, of Riverglade, passed away at her home on Friday, August 13, 2021 with her family by her side. Born in Havelock, she was the daughter of Thelma Plume (Smith) and the late Robert C. Plume.

   Donna worked at Riverview Tax and Accounting for 20 years and was also an at-home Tax Accountant. She enjoyed her work and spent many hours alongside her business partner, Gail McMackin. Donna’s love was her family. Every year, her Christmas dinner brought everyone together. She enjoyed family vacations, and after purchasing the motorhome, went on many long trips all across Canada and the USA, including BC, Nashville, and Florida, taking all of her grandchildren to Disney World. She also enjoyed riding on the back of her husband Dennis’ motorcycle. As soon as it was warm enough, they were off.

   In addition to her mother, Thelma, Donna is also survived and sadly missed by her beloved husband of 42 years, Dennis Halliday; children, Kristal (Shawn) Halliday, Stephanie Halliday; grandchildren, Isaiah, Maegen, Morgen, Kayla, Samantha; brother, Danny (Jackie) Plume; brother-in-law, Kevin Bannister; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

   Besides her father, Robert, she was predeceased by an infant son, Dennis; son, Michael; and sister, Debbie Bannister.

   Resting at The Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800) from where visiting will be held on Monday, August 16, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm, and where Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 17, at 1 pm with Pastor Dennis Smith officiating. Interment in The Loyalist Cemetery, Havelock.
