Alena Carter
1939-2021
Alena May Carter, 81 of Country Care Home and formerly of Petitcodiac passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Pollett River, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mazie Bannister. Alena was a homemaker and she enjoyed arts and crafts.
She is survived and sadly missed by her children Madeline LeBlanc, Wanda Wilkins (Jeffrey) and Kenneth (Susan) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Robert; son Dennis; sisters Marion Douthwright, Marguerite Harrison and brothers Vaughan and Donald Bannister.
Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). There will be a graveside service at the Elgin Cemetery on Saturday, August 14 at 3 pm.
If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
