Hilda Wilson Hilda Wilson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hilda Jean Wilson, 89 of Little River, Albert County on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Pollett River, she was the daughter of the late John and Cora (Stewart) Kaye.  Hilda was a retired Pastry Chef at "The Pastry Shop" and she was member of the former Pollett River Baptist Church. She enjoyed country music, cooking and especially family gatherings.  Hilda was known to many as the best "fudge lady".

She is survived and sadly missed by her daughters Judith (Judy) Wilson, Moncton and Janice Wilson-LeBlanc (Raymond) with whom Hilda resided; son John Wilson (Lee) of Pictou County, NS; grandchildren Jeremy Wilson (Lauren), Campinas, Brazil and Joshua Wilson (Amanda), Pictou County, NS; great granddaughter Selena, Pictou County, NS; several nieces and nephews and also survived by many grand fur babies. Hilda was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her husband Stewart Wilson; sisters Myrtle Douthwright, Lois Thorne, Mary McIvor, Mildred Kaye and Ena Collier and brothers Weston and Owen Kaye.

Special thanks to the Nursing Staff of the 3400 Unit at the Moncton Hospital for the exceptional care of our Mother.
