Pearl MacLeod

  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pearl Edith (Parlee) MacLeod 76, on Friday, June 11, 2021.

  Born in Kinnear Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Marjorie (Dobson) Parlee. She was a member of the Second North River Baptist Church and the Second North River Womens Institute. Pearl was retired from MacLeods Special Care Home, Salisbury. She enjoyed knitting and loved time spent with her family, especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren.

  She is survived by her husband of 52 years Allan; granddaughter Tabatha Mitton (Stephen); great grandchildren Zachery, Isabella and Dawson; brothers Dale (Stephanie), Frances (Jean), Freddie and Roger: sisters Irene, Clara and Debbie (Bill) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Michael  Mitton; brothers Harold, Donnie, Carlton, Melborne, Hartford and Nelson and sister Mabel Hicks.

  Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 visiting will be Monday, June 14 from 7 to 9 pm. There will be a private family service with Pastor Dennis Smith officiating and Covid restrictions in place. Interment will be at Monteagle Cemetery. The service will livestream Tuesday, June 15 at 11 am on the Salisbury Funeral Home Facebook page.

  If desired, memorials to the Monteagle Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
