Mildred Simpson

   Mildred Katherine Simpson, 71, of Colpitts Settlement, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, May 31, 2021. Born in Boundary Creek, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Florence (O’Blenis) Jones.

  Mildred was a member of the Salisbury Royal Canadian Legion Branch #31. She  enjoyed playing darts, games, puzzles, going for drives in the fall and especially enjoyed knitting.

   Survived and sadly missed by her daughters, Katherine (Robert) Wilson, Cherry (Stuart) Gladstone, and Florence (Dale) Deveau; sons, Harold and Raymond; brother, Douglas Jones; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

   Besides her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her husband, Douglas, and sisters, June MacCallum and Edith Gautreau.

   Arrangements are in care of The Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). A Graveside Service will be held at The Five Points Cemetery on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11 am with Rev. Bill Parks officiating. Covid restrictions in place. If desired, memorials to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
