Charles Holt

   Charles W. Holt, 95, of Petitcodiac passed away at the Jordan LifeCare Centre, The Glades, on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Charlie was the son of the late Charles W. Holt Sr. and Alberta (Hicks) Holt. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Mary (Constantine) in 1997, as well as siblings, Eudora, Ethel, Robert, James, Richard and Frank.

   Charlie was a good and kind husband, father, and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by sons James (Sharon), Ken (Evelyn); siblings Edith, Eva, Venisha, Herbert and John; three grandchildren Alex, Angela, Sarah; four great-grandchildren Zoe, Maxime, Emilie and Noah; special friend, Hazel Wheaton.

   Charlie was an employee of NB Power as a lineman for 38 years. He was one of the original founders and lifelong member of the Petitcodiac Golf & Country Club. He was a square dance caller for 40 years and sang in the Saint James United Church Choir for over 40 years.

   Arrangements in care of The Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). In respect of Charlies wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a future date. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac.

   A special thank-you to the staff of the Jordan LifeCare Centre and Dr. Richard Morton for their kind and caring attention paid to Charlie.
