Laurel Corey

   Laurel Sharron Corey, 66, of Moncton, passed away at the Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy (Kierstead) Corey.

   Laurel was raised, and attended school in Havelock, graduated from the Petitcodiac Regional High School, and went on to become a licensed practical nurse, gaining her education at NBCC. Laurel retired as an LPN and a ward secretary from the Moncton Hospital with over 40 years service.

   She attended the Moncton Wesleyan church, enjoyed gardening, reading, and knitting, and especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

   Survived and sadly missed by her brother, Michael (Kathy) Corey;  sister, Lenora (Dan) Kelly; nieces, Amanda (Mike), Kaitlin (Jon), and Megan (Ryan); nephew, Matthew (Jennifer); and great-nieces and nephews, Jack, Mya, Roland, Royce, Juddson, and Tayton.

   Arrangements are in care of The Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). A private family Graveside Service will be held at the Loyalist Cemetery, Havelock, at a later date.
