Arthur “Harold” Corey
Arthur “Harold” Corey passed away, Monday August 29, 2005 at the age of 72, at the Moncton Hospital. He was born May 31, 1933 in East Canaan, was the son of the late Charles and Pearl (Kierstead) Corey He retired from the Canadian National Railway of Killam Drive as a heavy equipment mechanic in 1991 after 34 years service.

He is survived by his wife Edith (Holt) of 48 years, two daughters: Julie of Salisbury and Judy Pickett (Robbie) of Cornhill, a son Jamie (Karen) of Cornhill. Two grand daughters: Amy and Jamie Lee, two grandsons: Matthew and Aaron, three brothers: Lawrence (Mary) and Hollie of East Canaan, Roy (Edith) of Truro, two sisters: Doris Coleman of Moncton and Faith Clarke of Petitcodiac.

He was predeceased by two brothers: Russell and Raymond, a sister Myrtle Woodman.

Harold was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Lodge # 198 C.N.R., he also belonged to the Petit Partners square dance club and Charlie's Angels Round Dance.

Visiting hours will be held Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Wednesday August 31, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating. The interment will take place at the Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Havelock.

No flowers by request, donations to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
