Joel Parsons

   A Celebration of Life is being held in memory of Joel William Parsons of Colpitts Settlement at 33 Budd Road, Murray Corner on July 17 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Follow the white balloons off Route 15, through Route 955, up Lanchester Road to arrive at the cottage.

   Non-alcoholic refreshments will be available on site. Hope to see you there!

   Joel William Parsons, 63, of Colpitts Settlement, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, January 4, 2021. Born in Sackville, he was the son of the late Edmond and Stella (Stright) Parsons.

   Joel was a lifelong dedicated employee of Modern Enterprises and retired due to his illness after 44 years. A true outdoorsman he enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, his annual fishing trips and working around his home. For many years he drove his stockcar locally and was an avid NASCAR fan.    

   Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife, Charlotte (Piercy-Waddell);  his daughter, Jennifer Parsons (Travis); step-children, Zachary (Stephanie) Waddell, Jessica Mollins (Colin); cherished grandchildren, Levi, Calvin, Grayson, Paisley, Gavin; brothers, Garry (Linda), Myles (Sharon), Blaine (Anne); mother of his daughter, Valerie Rossiter; many nieces and nephews, and canine companions, Maggie and Molly.

   In memory of Joel, the family would appreciate a random act of kindness to anyone in need.
