Allen Wilson

1996-2014

Allen Wilson

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Allen Neil Wilson, 18, of Salisbury, announce his passing on Sunday, September 21, 2014 in Edmonton, Alberta.

He was born August 22, 1996 to Tammy Statham and Neil Wilson (Wendy).  Allen graduated from JMA Armstrong High in 2014 and was pursuing a career as an electrician.  He was a bright, positive and caring person who took the time to genuinely get to know people and had a passion, enthusiasm and zest for life that was infectious - often inspiring others and always had a shoulder to lean on.  Allen enjoyed spending time with his father snowmobiling and working on cars and also enjoyed time spent with his mom cooking.  He had a passion for basketball and was a JMA Cougar for several years.

Besides his parents, Allen is survived by his brothers Jonathan DiFalco, Jason Wilson (Carrie), Kyle Wilson (Cortney), Jared Wilson (Jaki) and his sister Verina DiFalco; his uncles Karl and Aaron Wilson; his aunts Crystal Wilson, Cathy Chanasyk (Larry), Heather Kellett and Mandy Statham; grandmother Thelma Statham; great grandmothers Myrtle Wilson and Marjorie McCarthy and three nephews and two nieces that he loved very much.  Predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Laura Wilson; grandfather Gerald Statham; his uncles Clarence Wilson and Jonathan Statham.

Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Sunday, September 28, 2 to 6 pm and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Monday, September 29 at 11 am with Rev. Chris Hayes officiating.  Interment will follow at Boundary Creek Cemetery.

If desired, donations in Allen's memory to JMA Armstrong High School (Sports Fund), 55 Douglas Street, Salisbury, NB E4J 2B4 would be appreciated by the family.
