Clare Smith

  Clare May Smith, 89, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital.

  Born in Toronto, ON, she was the youngest daughter of Andrew and Clara Morton.  She was a member of the Salisbury United Church and a Lifetime Member of the U.C.W.

  She is survived and missed by her sons Kim (Ellen), Drew (Laura) both of Riverview and daughter Shelley Luckasavitch (Rick) of Cochrane, AB; five grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Colleen, Katherine and Christa and two great grandsons Nathan and Maxence as well as her sister-in-laws Kathryn Morton and Gladys Cunningham and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-two years Austin, her three sisters and one brother.

  Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Sunday, September 14 from 2 to 5 p.m and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Monday, September 15 at 2 pm with Pastor Sim Rushton officiating.  Interment to follow at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
