Doris Geldart

Doris Blanche Geldart ,94, of the Jordan Lifecare Center and formerly Riverview and Colpitts Settlement, passed away Sunday August 17, 2014 at her residence. Born in Little River , N.B., she was a daughter of the late  Herbert and Lavilla Douthwright and wife of the late Percy Douglas Geldart.

   Doris was a member of the Middlesex Baptist Church and willingly gave of her time to the Lord over the years by teaching Sunday School, attending Women's Missionary Society as well as hosting Ladies Bible Studies and Prayer Meetings in her home.

   She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Colleen Ayles (Merle) of Upper Coverdale; her sons Leonard (Thelma) and Dennis (Willa) of Moncton and her 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Besides her husband Percy, Doris was also predeceased by her son Paul and his wife Shirley (Smith); stepson Calvin Geldart of Toronto and stepdaughter Helen Smith of Saint John.

   Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home , 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Tuesday August 19 from 7-9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Rodney Blyth officiating. Interment will be at the Middlesex Community Cemetery.

   If desired memorials in memory of Doris to the Middlesex Community Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
