David A. Alward
1951-2013
David Allan Alward, 61, of Salisbury Back Road passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton he was the youngest child of the late Charles and Cinthie (Blakney) Alward. David was a former employee of the Chris Rock Tavern and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survived by his sisters Joan Steeves of Salisbury Back Road and Elizabeth (Betty) Gallant of Riverview; brothers William (Bill) and his wife Ida of Coverdale and Roger with whom he resided. Predeceased by his brothers Clinton, Bud and Wayne.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 15 at 11 a.m. at Five Points Cemetery.
If desired, memorials to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements are in the care of the Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).
