Chad Thorne

It is with great sadness we announce that Chad Marshall Thorne, 24, of Havelock, passed away accidentally, Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Salisbury.
Born in Moncton, he was a son of Robin and Amy (Lounsbury) Thorne. Chad worked at Sykes as a customer service agent for Bell Aliant. He was a graduate of Petitcodiac Regional School and Compu College in Moncton and he also enjoyed volunteering at the Havelock Boys & Girls Club.
Chad is survived and sadly missed by his parents Robin and Amy Thorne of Havelock; his beloved wife Heidi Lynn (McFarlane); his cherished children Rowan Brady Marshall and Landon James; brothers and sister Devin (Alicen), Chelsea Hatt (Scott) both of Havelock and Cody (Jessica O'Donnell) of Penobsquis; nieces and nephews Alexis, Lauren, Gavin, Aislynn, Bryson, Riley, Payton and Amelia; father and mother-in-law Moe and Patricia McFarlane of Salisbury; sisters-in-law Katie Oulette (Cole Lounsbury) and Ashley McFarlane. Also survived by his maternal grandmother Mary Lounsbury, great grandmother Bea Brown and paternal grandparents Stuart and Jean Thorne and Mary Thorne, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather Norval (Jack) Lounsbury.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Tuesday, February 19 from 5 to 9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Wednesday, February 20 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Nick Graham officiating assisted by Pastor Jacob Ebbett.
