Joyce D. Smith
1920-2012
Joyce Daphne Smith , 92, of Canterbury Hall, Riverview N.B. passed away Monday May 14, 2012 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Kent England she was a daughter of the late James and Ethel (Sandwell) Hildick. Joyce served in WW II with the W.A.F. in England where she met her future husband Graham who served with the R.A.F. They made their home in Montreal where they raised their family and she attended the Church of England.
Survived and sadly missed by her sons Graham (Kathy) of Bedford N.S., Michael (Elaine) of Lethbridge AB and Mark (Maisie) of Moncton N.B.; a brother James Hildick of California; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Graham and a grandaughter Rebekah.
By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A family graveside service will be held at Rideau Memorial Gardens, Dollard-des-Ormeaux P.Q.
