Stella Lewis

   Stella Grace (Dobson) Lewis passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 1, 2021, after a period of failing health. She was 97 years of age. Born June 28, 1923, to the late Wesley and Jessie (Lewis) Dobson.

   She was born and lived the very most of her life in Mont Eagle, NB. She was a member of the Second North River Baptist Church when she sang in the choir. She was a member of the Women’s Institute, Women’s Missionary, was CGIT Leader, volunteered at the K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, a member of the church bowling league and a long-time member of the Moncton Farmer’s Market.

   She leaves behind her beloved husband of 77 years, Freeman; son, Reid; sister-in-law, Joyce Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.

   Predeceased by her son, Orval Freeman; sisters, Shirley Dobson, Edith Munn, Viola Lutes, Freda Palmer and Eva Calhoun; brothers, Kenneth, Paul, Rosco, Ken, George and infant James Dobson.

   There will be a private family service at The Salisbury Funeral Home on Friday, March 5, 2021 with Pastor Keith Lewis officiating. Covid-19 restrictions in place. Interment will be in Mont Eagle Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorials to the Mont Eagle Cemetery or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
