Stewart "Mac" Morton

   Stewart Malcolm "Mac" Morton, 81, of Salisbury, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, August 24, 2020. Born on the Morton Road in Wheaton Settlement, he was the son of the late Harold and Araminta (Ayer) Morton.

   Stewart worked for Fawcett’s Lumber before moving onto Drurys / Eastern Transport and most recently, worked for GM warehouse parts department. He was a jack of all trades, and had many hobbies. He enjoyed time at the Pine Cone campground where he and his wife Linda brought their trailer for over 50 years. He was a member of the Citation trailer club, and a member of the Baptist Church in Petitcodiac.

  He is survived and sadly missed by his sister, Eileen Blakney-McKnight of Petitcodiac; aunts, Margarite Ayer of Nova Scotia, Audrey Ayer of Stoney Creek; sisters-in-law, Judy Colpitts of Moncton, Sharon Bainbridge of Woodstock; brother-in-law, Don (Debbie) Spence of Nova Scotia; many nieces and nephews.

   Stewart was predeceased by his wife, Linda Morton.

   Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service at the First North River Baptist Cemetery on Friday, August 28 at 3:30 pm. Arrangements in care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). If desired, memorials to Friends of the Moncton Hospital - Emergency Department, or First North River Baptist Cemetery.
