Bernita Clark

   Bernita passed away peacefully Friday, June 12 at Serena Care. Moncton, N.B. Born on Nov. 15, 1921, she was the daughter of Charles and Isabell (Blakney) Steeves of Havelock, N.B.

   Bernita will lovingly be remembered and missed by her daughter Donna Silk, Pickering, ON, daughter-in-law Diane Clark, Rothesay, grand-daughter Lisa, husband Louis Gaulin, Cornwall. Great grandchildren Chloé, Nicholas, Alexandre Gaulin as well as nephews, nieces.

   She was predeceased by cherished husband, Wellington, 2001, son Darrell 2020, grandson Christopher Silk, 2020.

 After graduation from Havelock High School, she pursued a career with Scotia Bank until retirement. During these years, she gave of her time in various organizations, treasurer of her church, choir member, Eastern Star and womens institute. Always with Wellington by her side, after retirement, enjoyed the sunny south for many years. Her faith in God, her church, the Havelock Baptist, and church fellowship sustained her throughout life.

 We were blessed to have her as our mother, and her guidance as our parent.

 Special thanks to her dear friends Junior, Roberta Moss of Havelock for their love and care over the years, she loved you so. All staff of Serena Care provided a home filled with laughter and love to Mom, our heartfelt thanks to you.

 Arrangements are under the direction of Salisbury Funeral Home, Salisbury, N.B. (372-4800) Due to the health restrictions amid covid, a private service will be held.

 If desired, memorials may be directed to Havelock Baptist church, community organizations or as you see fit.
