Betty Parke

  Betty Pearl Parke, 91 of Colpitts Settlement passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at her residence.

  Born in Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Emanual and Stella  (Brownjohn) Parke. She worked until her retirement at restaurants and coffee shops in Ontario. Betty was a wonderful and loving parent and grandparent, always going the extra mile to help her family and others. She will be greatly missed by every life she touched.

  She is survived and sadly missed by her daughters Mary and Diane Maharaj, both of Ontario; son Walter Astles (Diana), Colpitts Settlement; sister Margaret Parke, Ontario and brother Dave Parke, New Hampshire, USA; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Walter Astles, Sr.; son Robert Astles and brothers Robert and Ken Parke.

  There will be no visitation or funeral by request.  Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).

  If desired, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
