Amber Emond

1987-2020

Amber Emond

It is with great sadness, but also with great joy in our hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Amber Lea Dawn Emond, 32, of Riverview, on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Moncton City Hospital with family by her side.

Born in Trenton, ON, Amber is survived by her parents, Jean-Pierre and Heather (Toner) Emond; sister, Allison (Adam) Emond Smith; aunts and uncles, Kirk Toner (Sandra), John Ross (Denise), Leona Toner (Kenny), Robert Emond (Linda), Francine Emond (Pierre), Nicole Emond (Gerard); cousins, Greg Toner (Laragh), Shawn Toner (Kelley), Reese, Layla and several other cousins.

Predeceased by grandparents, Douglas and Margaret Joan Toner, and Lionel and Alma Racette Emond.

Amber was a gift to this world, her short life holding much purpose. Anyone who was blessed to know Amber knows how their hearts have changed for the better. She taught compassion, empathy, understanding, selflessness, caring, humbleness, and above all, love. Her time here was cherished, but we could not wish her back from the joys that await her in heaven.

Special thank you to 4200 Floor, Nursing staff, Palliative Care, 3600 Floor, Nursing staff, for all of the kindness and love for Amber; also to Dr. E. Morrison for all your years as Amber’s doctor; Dr. A Marrero, for your care, empathy, and compassion; Dr. Mansfield, for making our wishes for Amber a most peaceful and loving journey.
