Krista Leaman

   Krista Elizabeth Leaman, 51, of River Glade, NB passed away suddenly at home on January 8, 2020. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of John and Marilyn (Mullins) Edmonds and beloved wife of Julian Leaman.

   Krista was a scholar at heart. She was an avid reader and researcher, in tune with herself and the world around her. She was very interested in holistic healing and was a reiki master. She enjoyed the clients she met in her many years of hairdressing. She crocheted, knitted, and most especially loved to paint.

   In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived and sadly missed by her daughter Kayla Leaman (Kyle Chatham); grandchildren, Alli Jinson and Alix Chatham; brother, Rob Edmonds (Melanie Shaw); sister, Kim Meikle (Shawn Meikle); nieces and nephews, Ashley and Justin Edmonds, Allison and Ryan Meikle, Sierra and Zackary Edmonds, Hunter and Hudson Shaw; parents-in-law, Earle and Maria Leaman; siblings-in-law, Stephen Leaman (Cindy Mazarole), Deanna Saunders (Garth Saunders); and her feline companions, Obi and Tiny. Predeceased by several aunts and uncles.

    Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800) from where visitation will take place on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from  6 – 8 pm. A Celebration of Krista’s Life will be held at the same location on Monday, January 13, at 2 pm. If desired memorials to CARMA Cat Rescue, NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, Alzheimers Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
