Irene Horton
1929-2019
Irene Julia Horton, 90, of Moncton, passed away at the Briarlea on Monday, November 25, 2019. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Mabel (Leaman) Colpitts.
Irene retired from Archie Colpitts Ltd. She always went out of her way to look after her family and friends.
Survived and sadly missed by her sons, Brian (Michelle), Scott (Stacey), and Chris; grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas, Jonathan and Colin; daughter-in-law, Pamela; sisters, Marilyn Grewe, and Joan Colpitts; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Irene was predeceased by her husband, Delbert Horton, sister, Ruth Hopper, Lila (McKiel) Colpitts and brother, Gordon Colpitts
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering at The Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800) on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 1 - 3 pm. Interment in Colpitts Community Cemetery.
