Linton Northrup

   Linton Pollard Northrup, 78, of Boundary Creek passed peacefully at the Moncton Hospital On Tuesday July 23, 2019 following a ten year courageous battle with cancer.  Born in Cherryvale,  he was a son of the late Hollie and Nettie (Smyth) Northrup. Linton graduated as class president in 1958 from the former Havelock High School and went on to teachers college in Fredericton. He retired from teaching after 35 years in the former school district 16. He had served as instructor with 580 Squadron Air Cadets Salisbury and was a 50 year member of Branch 31 RCL Salisbury. A member of the New Canaan Baptist Church he enjoyed Nascar, four wheeling and time with his "Girls" and their families.

   Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 43 years Doris, nee Price; daughters Lisa Smith (Owen), Darla Northrup (Reg) and Kezia Cottenoir, cherished grandchildren Tyler, Scott, Daniel, Nicholas, Celine; great grandchildren Ian, Kira, Zachary, Katie and Kesler. Survived also by sisters Winnifred Sleep (Gerald), Wanda Bannister (Carl), Sandra Mahshie (Sam); mother of his children Darlene Graham; sister in law Joan Northrup and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Gaylen and Therle.

    The family will attend a graveside service on Tuesday July 30 at the Boundary Creek Cemetery with Pastor David Morehouse officiating, followed by a public reception and celebration gathering at the Salisbury Legion at 2 p.m.

  If desired memorial donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Pallative Care Unit or the Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
